Batiks are tightly woven and may resist pins or dull needles. A fine, sharp needle (like a Microtex 80/12) helps prevent skipped stitches, and pressing seams with a slightly lower heat setting protects the dye-rich surface.
The fabric is machine washable and dryable. It requires light ironing after washing and drying.
